** UK Recruiter are involved in many different types of networking events. Our events for 2012 include:

Recruitment Directors Networking & Learning Events - 9th February, 26th April, 5th July and 18th October, London

As the name suggests this is event is purely for Directors of recruitment firms.  These events take place in an afternoon and include speaker presentations.  We run these in conjunction with HB RIDA.  The seniority of the audience and keynote updates mean these events are the ideal place to keep up to date with the latest strategic thinking, hear first hand how your peers are tackling the same challenges you face, allowing for benchmarking and networking in both formal and information environments.    This is an event JUST for recruiters so unfortunately supplier organisations and non executive directors are not able to register to attend.

Registration for 9th February is open now at http://recnet9feb.eventbrite.co.uk/

Practitioner Only Learn and Network events -  14th March and 2nd May, London

These are brand new events for 2012.  We are working with Jobsite to deliver two, small group, events ONLY for actual practicing recruiters.  These events take place in an afternoon and include two speaker presentations - one from a recognised recruitment expert and one from a senior practitioner sharing their own experiences. The two topics we are covering at these events are Building Better and Long Last Client Relationships and The Secrets of Candidate Relationships; finding, managing and placing the best candidates.    This is an event JUST for practicing recruiters so unfortunately supplier organisations are not able to register to attend.

14th March - Managing Client Relationships - a development workshop for recruiters.  registration open at http://recnet14mar.eventbrite.co.uk/

Recruitment CRM/ATS & Innovative Technology Event - 24th May and 27th September, London

This is NOT a user conference. This an event of two parts.  A) for recruitment Decision Makers to get an overview of offerings from ten very different innovative technology suppliers and B) take ONLY one afternoon to view demos from up to eight CRM/ATS providers. During this packed afternoon you will hear from our keynote speaker of the challenges and opportunities that technology offers to recruitment businesses.  We will showcase for you 10 innovative products and services from a range of organisations.  Mixed in to these you'll have the opportunity to view 10 minute presentations from candidate management/applicant tracking system providers.  You'll have the time to network with other attendees and talk with all the suppliers, in an informal environment.   You can create a final shortlist of providers in only a few hours and save time not having to scour the internet to research what’s available; not having to call software companies to ask them to SELL to you!  Taking time out to organise and sit through even five product demonstrations would normally take at least EIGHT hours.  You can be sure you are seeing what’s available from the best recruitment software providers in an afternoon.  You also get to slot in a little networking time.  It’s a free event: yes, you'll pay to register but you get your money back once you’ve attended and viewed five demos.

End of Year Recruitment Conference - 7th November, London

A showcase event with sessions being run by all the major players in the recruitment conference space.  This event is for everyone involved in the recruitment industry, including recruitment agencies, employers, publishers and job boards. It will expand your knowledge, offer tremendous networking opportunities, benefit your business and/or personal development, and represents a fantastic opportunity to meet with the best minds in our industry today.  The conference runs from 10.30am to 6pm and you can choose which presentations you attend on the day. Subjects in 2011 included topics such as how agencies can find new revenue streams, candidate attraction and employment branding, capitalising on current trends, mobile recruitment, agencies & inhouse working together, executive research, job boards, and government and industry lobbying. We’ll also have some small group sessions running throughout the day on AWR and social media tools and techniques.

NORAs Award Networking Event - Evening of 7th November

This is held once a year and is run in conjunction with 1job.  There are still networking opportunities, however, a large element of the evening is around the presentation of the National Online Recruitment Awards.  Anyone within the recruitment industry is welcome to attend.  If you wish to get involved in sponsorship of these awards you should contact Stephen O'Donnell via http://www.norauk.com/awards/sponsors
